Raheem Morris?

Why all the hate? What'd Chris A Braden do to you guys?

I'll take Raheem as a position coach all day...

Saw an interview with him at the beginning of the season. He was energetic, but didn't come off as smart at all. The TV guy was fawning all over him and I just didn't get it. There is a difference between Herm Edwards and Tony Dungee and Morris was more of the Edwards ilk.

Again what motivation factor do you have at that point as a coach?

He will get a prestigious job, watch & see

Oh, I don't know.....maybe the fact that he was still getting paid to coach? It's called integrity. If, as you imply, he lacked motivation near the end, he doesn't sound like the type of guy you want to hire for anything.

DB coach at Iowa will most likely be our next DC, no?

I'd take Morris's job before Parker's. And not just because i'd get paid more either, Just saying....

I wasn't aware that your "prestigious job" could be 3 jobs down the line. You said prestigious job. I couldn't care less what his clause is. Fact is the job he got offered is a DB coach for the Redskins. Not so prestigious after his previous job.

Also, of course a pro job is better than a college job in most circumstances (when not a HC). He still went backwards and by a long ways.

As I said, all his interviews scream position coach, not HC or coordinator. He is very likable and energetic, but just doesn't come off as cerebral at all.

either way, he is one of maybe 300 NFL coaches..... out of maybe 300,000 people who currently coach this sport. thats 1 in 1,000 BTW. Pretty Elite/prestigious to me....

Are you telling me the guy who said this quote: "Stats are for losers, so you keep looking at stats, and we’ll keep looking at wins" doesn't scream intellectual to you?

Maybe he should have spent a little more time looking at some stats.

Wow what a stupid argument. By that method a D-II position coach could be considered a "prestigious" job.
