Preview: Hawkeyes Head Back into Big Ten Play at Purdue

Iowa needs Cook and Garza to be really good in this one. Edwards will give Iowa's guards problems because he gives everyone problems.

Actually, I'd argue, they need Moss, JoBo and JoVice to be really, REALLY good (like, 45+% good) and really, REALLY smart.

The good is possible ...
- Moss is due for his 1 good game every 4 or 5 ...
Oops, wait, that came 2 games ago vs Savannah State, so, he's out.

- JoBo has been 42%+, jacking up 26 - 3's, lately!
Wait ... it was against Savannah St and Bryant, and the late-game, hair-trigger, bombs-away shooting was a good part of why they nearly lost:confused:. He's out.

- JoVice has been looking very "freshmanny" against B14. I trust he's going to make a statement, tonight. That's one of the 3 guys we can count on, as needed!

The smart? ... Ummmm .... Hey, let's hope they pull off the REALLY, REALLY, REALLY good.;)

[ With quality Garza, Hawks have a chance to cover. ]
[ Without Garza, in W. Lafayette ... Hawks lose by around 14. ]

It was 8 to 8.5 this morning when I posted. Now it is 9.5 to 10. That's a pretty big move.

Guessing the Garza question mark combined with the fact that Iowa looked horrible against Bryant

edit: also the Tyler Trent emotion stuff as Rob just said

It's going to be a very emotional night in West Lafayette.
Thank you for your reminder, I'll make sure I'm sober as heck.
