Predictions... IA vs. Indiana

This one get's Capt and JVB back on track. Hosers have lost 5 of last 6. They suck.

IA 21 - Indiana 7

Then 1 more win to go bowling.

Indiana hasn't been good, and have lost handily in most games....BUT...they CAN score, and that scares me. We need to put up points, and not wait till the 4th quarter to do it. We need to be well above our avg in points to win the game, probably 24 or more.

We can absolutely win this game, and frankly we need to, to have a optimistic shot at a bowl game.

minimize mistakes, don't give up big plays, score more than 21 points = win.

Indiana 38-10.

JV 15-28, 122 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions.

nah, if we lose it won't be by that much...but I understand your frustration. I don't like to predict stats, but I think JVB will have more yards and a better percentage than that.

So if they suck so bad and we lose to them what does that make us? We all know losing to IND is a definite probable at this point. Every team knows how to beat IA. It takes all but 5 mins and 3 slides from a powerpoint made in 1999.

MSU doesn't have powerpoint? things must be bad in East Lansing. Just sayin. I get your frustration, but don't think it's as simple as this. Things have gotten better in the past, and I choose to believe they will again. I don't think we are quite as predictable as we once were, we need better QB play, and sound fundamentals, and no assignment breakdowns....and we have a legit shot at winning the next two. After that, we are going to need the above AND some breaks....

38-28 Indiana. JVB has an ok game, but the D can't stop anybody

If Iowa loses, this is how I think it would go. The Northwestern game worried me with how easily they moved the ball without even trying to throw. I doubt Indiana's run game is as good as Northwestern's but their passing game is better. Defense will have to play much better than they have the last two weeks, that's for sure.

We struggle most of the game, until a stroke of luck causes an Indiana fumble that bounces off 3 people, and Tyler Sash runs it back for a TD. We then go on and win the Orange Bowl.

Hoosiers 31, Hokks 17. Eerily similar game and score to the hijinx in Evan's Town last Satderpday.

31 IND - 17 IA
I just don't see the Hawks getting up for this game in Sleepy Bloomington. They give up 2 quick TD's and it's over before it even started.

Let's see. Iowa has more talent, and let's face it....they're Indiana. So obviously.....

Indiana 31-Iowa 19.

It's easy - they can score on any defense, and any offense can score on theirs.... except ours.

I don't expect this to be close.

But I do expect that conservative Kirk's game plan will likely be the right one. Run the ball and keep their D on the field.

Their 5 losses are by a combined 25 points. Our last 2 are by 35. (and the games weren't even that close)

Indiana 38, Iowa 31

The PSU game wasn't close and probably could have been much worse, I think the NW was closer than it felt. Your point well taken though, and if we were to lose I think your prediction is closer to the truth.
