Predictions... IA vs. Indiana

Hawks offense pounds rock against Indiana. ST makes a big play, defense gets some turnovers, Hawks 24, Hoosiers 23 on blocked PAT.

27 - 14 Indiana.

We go more conservative (I know this stretches the limits of the human mind - like lights inability to escape a blackhole...) and shorten the game to take out some possessions. Indiana neutralizes our best weapon M. Meyer by giving up a kick return touchdown and a HR to Bullock.

27-17 IOWA.........Bullock and the Hebrew Hammer run the ball well and keep IU's high powered offense off the field. Hyde either has a pick6 or a punt return for TD.......

Indiana has an offense, I believe, last time I checked Iowa doesn't. Points win games, not optimism. I have Indiana covering/winning straight up.

MSU beat's Nebraska
Minnesota upset's Michigan
Indiana beats Iowa

Wisconsin (bye) starts sweating b/c the Indiana game is now a must win.
NW(bye) wonders why they have to go to Ann Arbor and East Lansing back to back weeks.

Then the world laughs at the Big 10 for having 8 teams who could represent in the Rose Bowl.

mean while Purdue somehow beats PSU and suddenly become's huge Hoosier fans..

35-21 victory for Indiana. Indiana's diverse offense will put up major pts against the Hawks defense just like they did against Ohio St and others.

Before last weekend's game I would of said that JVB and the passing game would take some big steps against an Indiana defense that continuously gets beat over the top. Now, after seeing Iowa's passing game struggle against an even worse secondary, I don't see a victory here. 31-17 with 1td by Bullock and 1td by Weisman. the fg will come in the last two minutes of the game when our drive stalls out. Kirk knew he should of kicked the fg last week and doesn't want to make the same mistake this week;)

I think Iowa will show a little offense in this game and the Hawks win 31-28. If the offense steps up which I also thought it would against NW it would do wonders for the team and might still be a springboard for the rest of the season. It has been a tough year so far but I will never give up on the Hawks. I'm expecting at least two int. from Indiana and James Vandenburg has his best game of the year.

On the last play of the game, Vandenburg hits a hail mary to Warren...I mean Martin-Manley while the coaching staff is oblivious that the clock is running and are huddling trying to see what the magic 8-ball is trying to tell them to call. Iowa in a shocker 30-25.

Just kidding 38-21 Hoosiers ;)
