Predictions... IA vs. Indiana

Sadly, this is not going to turn out well for the Hawkeyes. Nothing I've seen at this point leads me to believe they are going to win this game with the way we are playing right now. If I had to guess right now, 38-24. Just don't see us scoring enough points to win this game.

nah, if we lose it won't be by that much...but I understand your frustration. I don't like to predict stats, but I think JVB will have more yards and a better percentage than that.

I would love to be completely wrong here, but with JV's play and the recent play calling/gameplans I don't expect much out of the passing game. Now I may be a bit unfair on the yardage because he should be up around ~150 yards based on current stats, but I haven't seen anything to make me feel different. I'm still waiting to see this "up tempo, no huddle" offense we were all excited about before the season. I won't be watching though, still undecided if I will record the game to watch later.

We had better run the ball very effectively. We had better add at least a couple of hundred yards in the passing game. We had better score at least, as another poster said, 24 points (I would even say 27). We had better keep the time of possession in our favor. Indiana will score some points...our defense must play one of their better games. Gonna be tuff.

There is no such game as IA vs Indiana for at least 5 years. By the time IA vs Indiana takes place, I'm hoping the Hawks have "moved on" from the current condition and finally return to taking care of business "vs" those they should beat. Until said condition is remedied, Iowa is a peer to the b10 cellar dwellers -- more likely to win at home, more likely to lose at their place.

Indiana 34-24.

Indiana goes for well north of 400 yards total offense but has 2 RZ turnovers.

Bullock has 150 yards rushing and 50 receiving. Then begins to hear AIRBHG whisper "transfer or else" in his sleep...

Um, hello did people forget our last trip to Bloomington?

I sure as hell didn't because I was in the stands for that craptastic game.

Indiana 41

It's their bowl game: Indiana 27 Iowa 14.

The next two weeks could very well be our bowl games. Never thought that I'd like to see the Illani on our schedule for the simple fact it could be a coin toss and one we could possibly win.

We will be able to run the ball which will keep the score down a little, but, we still give up 5 touchdowns and JVB continues to pee himself under pressure:

IU- 35
Iowa- 20
