Games that caught my interest last night...

Drake beat Wake Forest
Nova beat Louisiana by 47 (iowas opponent monday)
Kansas beat S Dakota State by 34 (iowas possible opponent Tuesday)
Alabama State is terrible. Lost to Oregon by 58

South Dakota beat Grambling by 29 today with no Grambling players in double figures in case the game the other night had tricked anyone into thinking they were better than a 300 plus team.

On the positive side, KenPom only has us with the 349th easiest schedule so far, so we are still ahead of Incarnate Word and Sam Houston (both undefeated but haven't played a D1 team yet to qualify).

Northwestern got smoked today by Texas tech. 85-49. Thats 2 losses already for NW. Needless to say they won't be ranked next week.

Getting beat by the Ragin Cajuns today hurts our chances. I think we need to finish 11-7 in the B1G to get into the NCAA tourney, especially if we lose our first game at B1G tournament.

I don't think 11-7 does it either. And this team ain't going undefeated the rest of the non-conference anyway.

These are always fun to look at ... but come on - Creighton is just as big of a bubble team as Iowa. They lost on of the best PG's & C's in the country.

I think Creighton is in better shape than we are right now.
