McCaffery has cut off just about every reporter when asking a question. He's really unhappy.

Reporter: "Getting frustrated?" McCaffery: "What do you think?" And the press conference ends there.

It's not a complete season until Fran has manufactured a crisis out of thin air to distract a team with momentum into an epic meltdown.

He's the most mentally weak coach I've ever seen...

Really disagree with this. It isn't Fran passing up open shots. The X's and O's are fine. Players need to soul search and recommit to each other.

The X's and O's are not fine. This offense is stagnate and void consistent 3 pt. shooters. That's on Fran.

Really did I read that correctly you just said the X's and O's are just fine? Wow!

Also If players have to search their souls to recommit to each other than that is on leadership and that starts at the top as well.

Agree with your disagreement.

But he has a woody for Fran.

Everyone is tired of coaches doing coachspeak. When Fran lowers the coachspeak discipline and goes east coast saying-what's-on-his-mind, then he's undisciplined and mentally weak.

yeah.
right.

Get real then. Who recruited them, who coaches them, who motivates them, who puts them in and sits them? Tell me please, please. Why is it always somebody else. When does he say, its him. Same with Ferentz. They get paid to get results, and get paid really........ well

Two years in a row Fran meltdown instead of controlling his emotions and the team comes apart. Controlling your emotions can be difficult but that is part of being a coach at a Big Ten program.

Fran has the maturity of a 16 year old. It's getting stale and to the point where you have to question this teams commitment to him.

Fran shows emotion in the presser. Where is this during games and has he forbid his players to have it. If you're the top dog in the program the buck stops with you.

This coach realized he's like a fish facing the cat. That is w

hy he hates being in a fishbowl! Maybe he's thinking of Notre Dame?

So confused, you used "woody" in a sentence which stiffey are you referencing?

agree. the lack of success of this program is totally on fran. If this dumpster fire continues, a new coach is needed next year , just like in football

This is why I will always like a coach with the demeanor (I'm not talking about wanting them in general, but rather the even-keeled coaching style they bring) of Ferentz or Hoiberg over coaches like Fran or Rhodes.

They don't have the talent.

We have one guy who is servicable as a point gaurd and isn't even really a pg and wouldn't start for any other big ten team at the position. Another "pg" who belongs about two levels below this conference, a freakin seven footer who can't dunk and a suposed best player with almost no actual basketball skills and a couple really unathletic slow footed shooting guards.

Uthoff is a nice second option type guy but doesn't have the make up to carry a team, although if he would play as agressive as he did at the end of that game all game he might be able to. Olesani is also a nice complementary player but isn't polished enough to play big minutes.

Its actualy amazing they have won as many games as they have.
