Portal / roster thread 24/25

Some of that help means development of a better pass rush. If not sacks, pressure.
Whatever happened to that 3rd down pass rushing package Parker used to put out there? A few yrs ago they used to have LBs/Dbs rushing the passer some with the DEs standing up moving so the O wasn't sure who was coming but I don't think we broke tendency and blitzed hardly at all yesterday. In a game where the QB was just picking us apart you gotta make him uncomfortable and the few times our front 4 did that was sometimes successful. But for most of the game they just did whatever the heck they wanted.

After the bowl game, it is apparent we need serious help in the defensive secondary.

I've been thinking this a good part of the year. Did anyone else notice that too often it seemed like our DB s
were smaller and slower than the WRs they were defending? That makes it tough.

This guy is now headed for his fourth school:
Florida - DNP
Arizona State - 3 games
Georgia - DNP

I remember Resheda, we discussed him here in HN.

He originally committed to Florida. They offered him something like a $3M total package as a true freshman. But when it came down to it, Florida had to tell him they couldn't commit to that much money so without ever attending Florida he transferred to Arizona St.

Rashada's father had played at ASU so there was some loyalty there. He started Game 1 of his collegiate career but then hurt his knee after 3 games and never saw the field again. ASU finished 3-9. This would have been the year before Kenny Dillingham arrived. Not exactly sure why he transferred out, $$ would be my guess.

Not sure what happened this year, maybe his knee isn't good still. But he was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school in California, Bay Area I think but not sure on that. I'd think if Gronowski doesn't pan out we'd at least give him a look. He'd be expensive for a questionable guy.
