Iowa has to be a better offer than Oregon State.

He's a west coast Cali kid going back closer to home. I can see why Duke was an odd fit for him. May have ties to coaches from Oregon st who originally recruited him some. Hard to say. He's a big athletic strong armed guy that's for sure. Ya wonder if Iowa even tried

From a geographic standpoint Iowa would definitely be closer to home then Duke. Unfortunately not close enough I'm guessing for any real consideration.

I'm sure him choosing Duke had him thinking that didn't matter. But then after being away a yr that can change. Hard to say maybe none of that mattered. I haven't a clue.
