Pomeroy Top 25 - How important?

Missisippi State (18-13, #24) in 2007 was the last Power 6 team ranked in the Pomeroy Top 25 to be left out of the tourney.

Before that - the only other Power 6 teams left out of the NCAA Tourney w/ a Top 25 Pomeroy rating:
Georgia '03 (19-8, #18), S Carolina '06 (18-15, #15).

Iowa is currently sitting at 29.

If you look at the resumes of those three teams, Iowa is much better than those three were.
Now, again, this isn't concrete stuff, just throwing it out there for banter.

We've discussed the various scenarios with a loss to Indiana. Let's run the table and start discussing what seed we should get at 11-7 with 2 wins in the BTT. I'm thinking that's about a 6 seed.
