Wellll....no.

I didn't renew my season tickets this year for a number of reasons.
(Poor schedule, too much money spent on boxes and not the die-hard fans, etc).
I did go to the Minney and Illinois games on the road and the MD game at home.

This team was way too mis-managed for me to spend any more money traveling to watch it.
My HDTV does just fine.

How does Kirk or Gary control 9 games on the schedule? They control 3 in reality and they are supposed to schedule much harder competition than the teams making into playoffs do.

The stadium boxes is what everyone is doing, not just Iowa so Gary is supposed to sit back and not keep up with the times and then people bitch about that. People already wanted to redo the south end zone. The one thing I don't like about the boxes is that people generally in those will sit inside and not be loud when it is not good weather outside.

It's my stress relief.
I don't pretend to understand how or why, but something about football, from stats and numbers to plays and players, it all just makes sense and somehow lets me get into the rhythm so to speak.
I suppose some people play video games to relax. Some watch TV. Some play chess.
I get into football.
I grew up in Iowa and a Hawkeye fan. A U of I fan.
So it seems logical to be here.

Not blaming anyone for the schedule. But when I looked at it, it looked like dog crap.

"Everybody's doing it.".....like when Iowa added on the "excise tax" fees to season tickets....I get it.
Just not a fan of it. With the amount of money I saved this year, I cherry-picked my games I wanted to see and didn't feel compelled to watch UNI and NIU.

God help you with the people you have to deal with on these forums.

When I was a kid I had a cat that would walk up and swat the German Shepherd that was on the chain. The cat would lay down and let the dog drag her around. When it got rough the cat would claw the dog and stop it all. The dog would yelp and quit.

Happened over and over again. Rob is the cat. We are the dog.

This forum is a constant reminder to me that no matter how outraged or frustrated I am over the actions of 18-22 year old kids and their millionaire coaches .... there's always people a lot crazier than me.

Some? Ya. A lot? Na

It’s my job.

Lol, seriously though I wonder how many hot mike moments you could have had over the years. If there is any one on this forum who hasn’t been frustrated with some of the play calling and clock management, then those folks need to go back to the stupid farm from whence they came.

No option for "Something to do while on the crapper"

It's interesting. I use this site as a laxative. When I see the misguided crap that comes rushing out of people's mouth's, it acts as a stimulant and I get right in a hurry. I have to thank TKSirius for helping me out the most.

You need to add two more choices:

(1) Beats working
(2) Now that the Durty 30 is gone, I can post my hot takes in peace
I usually only read this stuff at work, and somebody got rivals blocked company wide so I can't view it anymore :(

Partly to witness mastery of the English language. Mostly to see what tksirius likes:

This season was a TOTAL WAIST OF TALENT!! With all the players that made All Big Ten and are leaving for the NFL we should of been dominate. It also doesn’t help that Daddy’s boy doesn’t no offensive football. Does he even no what a 3-snap reed is? I bet he couldn’t draw up a shuffle pass little own put one in the playbook. I could call plays better then him but I have a job and wouldn’t have time to be their at his every beck and call. Brian is nothing more then a overpaid pre-Madonna living on Daddy’s name. He looks like Fred Flintstone and is to stupid to be a coach. Their, I said it! Even if he gave half his sallery to a cause like Section 8 housing, that still wouldn’t cause me to support him cause I hate him. They’re, I said it again! He needs to find another job. He could be a relitter and sell Daddy Kirk’s and Gary Barta’s house’s while he’s at it. Maybe he could sell jewlery. Oh wait he doesn’t no what a ring looks like. Oh and we’ll loose to MSU expecially with Brian’s offense or lack they’re of. Even if are defense keeps it close we need a OC better then him irregardless.

Ok, so I’m exaggerating a little, but come on! We’re from Iowa! Have some pride in our education. Our 2nd Grade teachers would be rolling over in their graves if they read some of the shit on here.
