I've noticed whenever anyone shares their opinion on a position they are worried about the immediate follow-up is: "That's not the position I'm worried about, I'm worried about the ____________________ position."

So, let's find out where our collective fears are.
 
The 8 man rotation on d line was critical. I know we have some good ones but we need 2-3 more to rotate and handle any small injuries next year. If we don’t see this and our o struggles at all in games this group will get tired quickly and become much less effective
 
Coach. I think the talent to do something special is there. But will we get out coached continually? Will the coaches be afraid to open things up a little?

Coaching will be the big question mark next season.
 
I voted for DL. For a program like Iowa its the most important position group. And they were gutted there by graduation and Nelson leaving.

As another poster mentioned, depth is the biggest concern for me there. Iowa needs at least 6 guys who can play. And that is not factoring in potential injuries.

Iowa is pursuing a grad transfer at DT which would help with the depth.
 
Oline should definitely be listed. This years Oline I don’t think can be considered anything other than average given the way we ran the ball. We lose 2.5 starters.

I went with Runningback even though I’m sure that won’t be a popular pick. We know the players but what I don’t think we know is if they are any good. We also don’t know if the coaches are going to properly utilize them. Part of me hopes Goodson is so good he comes in and gets instant play time, but given that we return three guys that played that seems unlikely.

If Goodson doesn't come in and play right away then we are in trouble. The 3 backs we have are not going to cut it. Sure they might get some yards against teams like Illinois, but they are nothing more than average to below average backs. There were times when they actually had a hole or cutback lane, and were either to slow to get there or didn't even see it.

The fact this poll isn't unanimous for "Punter"...tells me the most "concern" I should have is... "Dumb Hawkeye Fans"
