Pierschbacher to Alabama (reportedly)

For your sake. Yes it does. Because then I'll forgive you for the fact that you also believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy.

If you don't have something substantive to add and just want to attack other posters rather than their positions, I suggest you find another outlet.

I'm reading just the opposite on the pay boards. The midwest recruiting analyst is saying earlier in the week things were leaning heavy Bama but as of today what he is hearing is that Ross has swung back to leaning Iowa.

You realize he's trolling everyone right?

Its kind of a quasi-troll. While there is some baiting, there are some truthful elements to what he's saying.

Besides I've been around these boards enough, if he were really trying to troll you'd never be able to sniff it out.

This would maybe hurt Kirk's image a bit in recruiting as we wasn't able to secure a top OL from his own state. Maybe it's because I work with 80% Cyfans and live in central Iowa but I feel it would especially give Iowa State (at least the Clown fans) ammo for another one of their videos or whatever pitch Rhoads would use to show they were able to keep the top WR in the country from Iowa.

However, Ross P. is an OL. It's a position that Iowa will find an OL who WANTS to be a Hawkeye to fill his scholarship. Not going to get upset about this. If he were a QB, WR, or RB then would be a bigger loss. Image wise this hurts but on the field not so much. If he weren't from Iowa, would anyone really care?

Hey Clark, I get it if you don't watch a lot of Iowa football, but we have had a fairly bad run with these "high ranked" recruits. Sure, some pan, like Bulaga and Reiff (and when they do they bail for the NFL early). But we have had plenty who haven't panned. Give me a fella who is ready to stroll in with his lunch pail and go to work everyday over some highly ranked guy on the o-line. Heck, same with most positions. Jake Christensen was a 4 star. You can call me a troll, but Tom Lemming is the ultimate troll because he gets guys thinking it's the end of the world when some 17 year old kid changes his mind. It was the end of the world to a bunch of Hawks fans when we lost this in-state 4 star linemen and the kid never played a snap due to injury.

Actually that's right around the time things started going downhill

Isnt this forbidden or at the very least frowned upon?

Sharing pay board info.

He paid for it on another site. If he wants to share that info on another site that's his choice IMO. Just can't share it on the free boards on same site obviously.

Stop calling Lazard the top WR in the nation, he isn't.

That's how he rolls, he never goes full on troll. Sometimes it's anti KF, sometimes it's pro KF, and sometimes he pretends to be a Northwestern fan.

Whatever, he's one of the top WR's in the country. Some have him as the top WR. Regardless, he's a talent. A player, and position, I wish Iowa had a recruit for. If Ross P. were a skill position player this loss would be a big blow.

I don't have any true stats in front of me, but if this kid walks to Daddy Saban, how many 4 star or better guys will that have been under Coach I.M. Milquetoast that have left the state for "greener" pastures? Off the top of my head I have Adrian Arrington, Christian French, Amara Darboh. I understand why other coaches love Kirk, he keeps the games close and allows lesser opponents to win; and his recruiting is on par with his 4th down punt inside the 35 at Nebraska with nothing to lose in 2012. By that I mean sackless.

I love how 98% of the internet has no problem stealing/pirating music or movies, but somehow college sports pay fan boards are religiously followed.

From what I've been told, appears No. 1 OG and top #Iowa recruit Ross Pierschbacher will flip to #Bama from #Hawkeyes http://es.pn/XWQ2l2

AD at CF High School is Gary Koenen (sp?) so this would make sense.

Based on what I've been able to gather via the www (no insider info), it looks pretty likely that he's still a Hawk. I believe the ESPN tweet was premature.

edit: screwed this up somehow, but this was in response to Gopherinhawkland's post above stating he felt the tweet from GK109 was the CF AD

edit #2: sorry, I'm new around here...meant Hawkingopherland

So we know or don't know?

As Socrates said, quoted by Plato, "True knowledge exists in knowing that you know nothing".
