Per Woodbury's interview yesterday, sounds like recruiting is wide open (top 5)

I have seen articles saying he had an offer from Clemson, clearly a better program than Iowa at this point and others say he didn't have an offer, not sure what to believe there, but Clemson was in his final choices and he said yes to Iowa.

He never got a Clemson offer. He even paid his own way to Clemson to try and get an offer the weekend before he committed to Iowa. It seems like when he went there and didn't come back with an offer he knew Iowa was his only BCS ride at the time.

This doesn't matter a whole lot now as he seems to be firmly committed and playing well. But lets be real on who Iowa beat out for his services.

So what.

He's got a 91 rating on ESPN, his stock is rising, and he could very well end up a top 150 kid.

What matters is where he ends up, and how he plays at Iowa, not where he was when he signed as a junior.
