Perhaps you've heard of People of Walmart: a collection of all the creatures that grace us with their presence at Walmart, America's favorite store.

Well the geniuses that be in Tuscaloosa put their NC trophy on display at a Wal-Mart.

The point about pride is taken - there is a democratic aspect to putting it somewhere everyone could get a chance to see it..... but a Wal-Mart? C'mon, there are better places.
 
Even though you don't want to belive it:

Ok, you all enjoy kowtowing to the corporation that helped turn China into an economic superpower.

I think it sucks and it panders to the lowest common denominator.

And doesn't Iowa present all of their bowl trophies at the Iowa State Fair? That is one of the biggest collection of white trash hicks around. It would probably be easy to rob the Eastside of Des Moines blind during the fair because all of the eastside hicks are at the fair, but, in a fit of irony, all of the eastside hicks who rob each other are starting fights in the parking lot of the fair, getting thrown in jail, and thus unable to take advantage of the situation.

funny that ppl make fun of this as if they have never been to wal-mart...ever thought you might be the one they are making fun of?

should get to display this every where...target be better?

You really think Kirk Ferentz and Gary Barta would allow the crystal football to be displayed at a Wal Mart?

One more thing. Iowans are "rural" compared to the coastal population centers. That much is true. But we also have first class public education, low unemployment, and little crime. We aren't inbred uneducated retards.
