You can tell they hate him because of their apologist leanings. I'm really disgusted with these people.

Its a message board man. Its where people come to vent whether its good or bad. Dont let it get to ya my friend

I don't hate the guy but he quit in the middle of the year and the team owes him nothing at this point. His reasons for leaving are his own and I frankly don't care, it's his life. But, you don't get do overs in life, he made a choice and it had consequences. Wish I could quit my job every time my caseload was too heavy and come back the next week and get it back, but it doesn't work that way.

Not me. I don't think Willies has done anything so egregious that he shouldn't be offered the opportunity to earn his way back onto the team. Obviously he didn't handle it too well, but talking about transferring to be near his dad, under the circumstances.. I think I can overlook it.

This is why I don't post much anymore. It sounds like the kids dad/ or father figure is dying for crying out loud. There is more important things than football. And this sure is one of them. Give the kid a break.

This is the correct response.

No disgusting agenda by the "haters" at all........

People are starting to figure this problem out. Willies is a playmaker. And instead of using him to win games, we are spreading the ball around to plenty of kids who are not his equal. This isn't complicated. How does a 5-2 team lose to a 2-5 team? Simple, relying too much on the wrong personnel.

Pity party? Are you a girl lying on your belly surrounded by stuffed toys listening to songs from 1963? Was he injured last year when the skinny upgraded walk-on was seeing the field while he was red-shirted? I would tell you to rethink your apologist agenda, but that would require having something to do it with. He might be leaving cuz he's wondering what white-bread walk-on will be ahead of him next year.

You're kinda cherry-picking which wild generalization is a problem. A third party might be able to extrapolate why that is. Repeat after me: "Playmakers frustrated with our HC have no reason to be."

Let me help you.

VANDY SHOULDN'T BE ON THE FIELD IF WILLIES IS ON THE BENCH. And Mccarron being the returner over KMM is another KF blunder. Sheesh, your dense. One last thing, 4 touches for Willies is a ridiculous under-utilization. That tells me others are getting touches at the expense of guys like Powell and Willies.

Exactly. None of us know what Willies and KF have talked about in private either, but I wouldn't think something so egregious has taken place that he couldn't earn his way back.

I agree. If the whole situation is true with his dad with a serious medical condition, they should all be ashamed. Very few know how they would react at his age with this kind of decision. This is coming from someone who lost a parent at 15 yrs of age.

He's 18 years old. He is a kid. Let him back on the team, if he wants back on. Let him earn his playing time. He is a good kid with a LOT of talent.

I am not taking a side on this, but here is the thing. Sometimes, when you are still in college/before you are in your mid 20s, you DO get do overs in life. But sometimes when people have been adults long enough they forget about the second chances and maybe even third chances they or others like them got when they were immature.

There are definitely people that forget these things on message boards.
