Penn St Audibles board is whacked

Trying to compare Cedric Everson case to Sandusky cover up is an obvious desperate attempt to justify the actions of the Penn St coach/administration.

Does it bother anyone that Iowa went to court successfully to keep the records sealed in this investigation? Should there have been more transparency? Iowa
could have been sued if they made the records public.

Everson eventually was convicted of assault. To compare the two is ludicrous.

Does that really surprise you? Their also trying to compare the OSU situation to this. Right now all of their fans are in denial and they're going to say anything to keep from facing the truth.

It did not take 15 years for Everson to be brought to justice. He was removed from participation and then the team in relatively short order.

Besides, felonies for drinking, drugs, assaults are a huge difference than raping young boys....Plus I would venture to bet we don't have 100 felonies in the past 50 years even.

trapper I was initially bothered by Ui's apparent withholding of info but as I read more it seams to be purely in order to stay compliant with federal regulations.

The Everson Satterfield issue wasn't handled perfectly but they got booted from the program and brought into the justice system in short order.

PSU's Audibles board is blinded by loyalty. Pretty sad actually.

At the same time, Iowa did handle the 2007 incident pretty badly. In fact most of Iowa's off the field issues are handled very poorly.

Not PSU level, not even the same universe. But Iowa fans shouldn't get too high and mighty. This program has enough to worry about with off the field stuff.
