Do not feel sorry for me, I am not the one confused. When this stuff first broke you were challenging us on how the Pierce, Satterfield, Everson crimes were the same as what happened at Penn State and now you are saying they are not as bad. Which is it? Your problem is you are to damn hard headed to just admit your wrong or at least take a break and visit another site. Instead you keep bringing up meaningless points that have nothing to do with the situation at Penn State. Almost everyone but YOU agree that what has happened at Penn State is by far the most horrible scandal that has ever occurred at a university. There is nothing that has ever happened at the U of I that even comes close.
The problem is that you aren't intelligent enough to understand.
Ill try to simplify it for you.
The premise was that if someone does something criminally wrong (heck even morally wrong) in a football program, then giving money to that program = supporting that behaviour even if the people that were behind it are gone and are being punished in the courts.
So by that measure you should not want to support Iowa, lets just say for the Everson Satterfield situation. In that situation, two people were fired over the mishandling of the situation. Or how allowing a rapist to stay on th team in Paul Pierce?
By supporting U of I you are supporting the actions taken, according to your standards.
You can try to argue that money = support only in one narrowly defined incident, i.e. PSU, but that argument is illogical and holds little weight.
I never once said that any situation at Iowa comes close to PSU, but that wasn't the point anyway.
I never said that PSU isn't the worst scandal that I know of to have ever happened at a university.
I am sorry if you don't understand what I have said. I will try to write things as simple as I can from now on.
