I would agree with this, and then if somebody like Macon committed, this would be a LOADED class. I really like what I've seen from Ingram, so I'm not worried about him at all, and he could be the 3rd or 4th best player in the class.

I thought ingram was more of a slasher (strictly what I thought I heard) but I could be wrong. That'd be great if he was a PG type.

Now do they take 6 in the class or 5 and bank 1. I know it depends on who wants to come, but 5 or 6 freshman is a lot in 1 class. I think 1 needs to be a JC to spread them out a bit. Also, how many 2013 schollies are going to be open? May's?

Ingram isn't a PG, more of a slasher/scorer.
Definitely a 2 guard.

The quote from Ingram was that Fran told him he wanted to bring in someone he did not have...and that makes a lot of sense.
On the 2012 roster right now, the hawks do not have a true slasher bully guard who defends the perimeter with quicks and strength. Gesell and Oglesby are more finesse shooter types, and Marble is a combo of length and postup,but not a true slasher.
I would like to add Ray Lee to this group also. The Hawks are still short on guards in 2012. Macon would be great also,but less of a true need.

I trust that Fran knows how to build a solid college team. That does not really mean 5 blue-chippers on the floor all at one time. You do need dirty work,glue guys,which is how I see Ingram. Solid pickup for the Hawk...congrats to Patrick,and welcome to the fold!
