OT: Matt Painter gets paid

Absolutely well deserved. On a side note I don't think I've ever seen a contract adjust someones salary "retroactively" like this one, or at least not the the extent that this one does.

That retroactive thing basically means hes going to get a 300k check for work he's already done... that must be nice.

Iowa basically did that with Ferentz in a contract amendment by giving him a lump sum "catch-up" payment to get him closer to market (as in "top end of the market").
