Opinion changer

Not at all, Vandy looked awful all game. He can't make basic throws. MN is a bad tea.m with a good record

Vandy is degrading each game. Almost all of his throws were absolutely terrible.

The tried to get JVB going by throwing the ball. It didn't work.....he hardly through a ball on time or accurate the entire day.

And yet in his post game, KF said that JVB did an excellent job of running the offense throughout the game. He was putting lipstick on a pig but it wasn't Floyd of Rosedale.

Correct, Gopher D made JVB make plays...we scored 0 offensive points in the second half when he was expected to make plays against a loaded box and blitz pressure.

The game was just fine. Aside from the huge elephant in the room sporting #16.

True Fact: JVB has started 20 games in his career and has thrown 2 TDs this year 5 games in, one being a Flea Flicker the other against Central Michigan.

It is what it is, Iowa will have to find other ways to win this year, unless a shocking improvement by the QB takes place in the next 7 games.

He's not that bad. He obviously has had his problems, namely in blitz recognition in his career, but I think the OC switch has just locked his brane. Both he and the WRs never seem to understand what is supposed to be happening. I don't know if it is because Grandpa Greggs's playbook is awful, or if the offense is unable to understand moar than the 12 plays KOK had drawn up for them.

Correction, he didn't used to be that bad.

I didn't want to believe it either but his once good mechanics are no where to be found.

I used to think this board was annoying after losses but it's pretty annoying after wins too. This board is just annoying after games I guess.

I assume after this game all will be forgiven. Kirk=great coach, Vandy=great QB, coordinators +great game plan.

Well, goes to show what happens when you 'assume' something! I have always thought that Kirk = a great coach, but Vandy is a good QB in my book and not great. As for the coordinators, four games does not make a great coordinator, but they are showing some real potential...

JVB is that bad right now. He has no confidence. Its like the 6 sacks against NIU scared him to death. He gets a whiff of pressure and he's unloading the ball. He has happy feet and he is thinking one thing while his WRs are thinking something completely different. And it doesnt matter who is right or wrong between JVB and the WRs. We are 5 games in and JVB needs to take control of the WRs and get them on his page.

JVB needs a major confidence boost. I dont think it will come against MSU.

Vandenchristianshermanberg'd. Again.

I think we had three first downs in the second half. ugh.

I loved the big win, and for the most part, the team played really, really well. The QB position remains a mystery.
