On the Side Pressers are no more

I don't understand why any reporter would waste the time to drive to one of his pressers any way. He has always given limited information. Nobody is out a thing with him cancelling his On The Side chat sessions. I think the press has been very fair to him. However, if I wasted the time to drive to one of his press conferences I would certainly ask a few more direct questions at this point.

If Kirk Ferentz does not understand that everything he does, everything he says and everything is not being recorded on video or audio and both 2x over the man should be simply let go for being an idiot.

I know that in these times everything is being video tapped.

If Ferentz doesn't understand people want him to be honest and answer every ridiculous question... he need to give back every dollar of the $4 million he earns this year.

Time to buck up Coach, be a man and give back.
 
Kirk, there are millions unemployed, including a bunch of Iowans, Hawkeye fans and other Americans across the nation.

Along with that there are millions of more people who are some combination of being homeless, can't feed themselves, can't feed their kids or are on the verge of it. Not to mention the huge BIG LIE and LOSS of the elderly.

At least you can do Coach Ferentz is answer every Q... do it straight forward, no coach speak.. be a frickin' MAN. Otherwise trout out your sister who you always refer to or your wife Mary!!!!

The call-in show is over. It ended last Wednesday with everyone present at Carlos O'Kellys having the opportunity to approach the coach and personally plant a big smootch on on his behind. It was a religious experience for those in attendance.

Everything that is said in the interview room is fair play.

Kurt has been doing this for 14 years... or for a total of at least 150 in-season weekly press conferences. DO NOT give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. He knows that what he says in a public forum is on the record, even if it is considered "on the side".

3.8 million just isnt enough to do "on the side" anymore. He's got to draw the line somewhere. Otherwise he is being taken advantage of. Maybe if Gary were to give him a little pay raise or a new contract, perhaps Kirk would continue them.

I can't imagine this has anything do with not wanting to put Kirk in the position to be asked further questions about an ongoing investigation of a nature in which he has no knowledge or can provide any meaningful insight.
