Olaseni

I'm afraid tonight's affair with ISUx will be typical of Olaseni's contribution this year in tight games....DNP.

This. And more specifically DNP-CD.

The rotation we saw tonight will be the Hawks rotation for all the B1G games barring some injuries or massive foul trouble.

If only we had more televised practices. We would see a lot more of Gabe.

All kidding aside, I do want to see Gabe continue to develop. He has a lot of potential, but he still has a long way to go before he is seeing meaningful minutes.

Pretty much an 8 man rotation (may was number 9 but at under 10 min he really isn't in the rotation). Similar to what I expect for b1g play though I hope basabe can put in more min and hopefully marble won't need to go over 35 so much if jo can hit some shots maybe get some time at the 3 to give him a breather.

Impressive defense from devyn as that is his weakest part. Jo played well on both ends. His defense is solid though I thought it might be even better at this point. Woody and clemmons have been great and I like the double pg line up even though it might make us a little small. The quickness with marble at the 3 is a huge upgrade for the team instead of forcing white to play out of position.

Woodbury played more minutes than he has all season. As he emerges, Olesani will be even less important. Those of you who think he's going to emerge in his junior and senior years? Who's he going to displace?

He’ll be the guy that gives Woodbury a rest most likely. I guess that means he’ll help displace McCabe/Basabe when they graduate. What other big guys do we have in the stable right now? I don’t think predicting that he’ll be a reserve 2 years from now is that outlandish.

Wait...now we're predicting he'll be a reserve as a senior?

Yeah, just like we predicted before. Spark off the bench. I hope you aren’t rooting against him for the sake of being correct cuz thatd be kinda weird.

So the best case scenario is that after 4 years of development, he'll be to the point where he can play 15 minutes as a back up as a senior? If this is the case, Fran probably missed on Meyer as hard as he missed on Olesani.
