Ok w Parker, but Erb needs to go

So I think Parker is the guy. Why? Cause that is KF style and whether you like it or not since he is here unitl 2020 he can do whatever he wants and he likes you to know it.

With that I still think Erb needs to go. The attrition at RB really picked up speed when he took over. I don't know what it is but it seems to follow him. If you remember correctly before he was the RB coach I believe was the WR coach before Soup came in. How many of us remebr the names: Cleveland, DJK, Douglas, and Bowman?

Is it a pattern that his guys seem to get in more trouble than others? Whether it is or isn't it is a glaring trend staring at you right in the face.

Add on the Special Teams play has been horrendous the last few years, and I think you have to question his future employment.

Is Erb responsible for the other players at other positions that were in trouble during that time?

Should we peg DJK and the drug house on Soup, or since Erb was his position coach when recruited does he earn that dismissal and Soup get the pass?

i think it has more to do with recruiting, how many recruit has Iowa taken that have come in with an injury that they have to sit out their 1st year to get healthy, then the player gets hurt again and by the time they get healthy another player has come in and taken their spot in the 2 deeps.
most of these kids want to play and when they realize that they won't they move on.
lets face it these kids are leaving on their own, its not like KF is pulling a Bob Stoops by not renewing scholarships, which he just did with 9 players.
to me there is a big difference in a kid losing his place in the 2 deeps and leaving, than being cut from the team ala SEC or Stoops method

Clearly not. Soup needs to go. Along with whoever coached DBs when Everson did his thing.

The program is out of control. The game has passed Kirk by. Greece is defaulting and a comet just passed through the Sun unscathed. Cling fast to your guns and religion boys, and join me and the wimminfolk in my End-Times Cabin (tm).

Id prefer they get rid of Herb before Erb. Herb is causing more attrition.

hey I am just pointing out a trend.

or a coincidence that you think is a 'trend'.

are 3 guys statistically significant given there are a 100 guys on a team at any one time? i bet when the 3 receivers you mention were in trouble there were more than 3 other guys in other positions in trouble at any one time.

who gets the ax for satterfield, everson and pugh?

It is a trend. You decide if it is a coinidence.

dumb. name the last staff at iowa to bring in top 10 classes.

sarcasm

pour me a glass of that tasty Erb kool aide you are drinking.

Bottom line is the ST have been horrendous since Erb took over.
The RB situation with attrition has been even worse and he is in charge of them.
The only other major group of off field problems were the WR when he coached.

If my company had these type of problems under the same supervisor you are damn straight I am going to ask, "What the hell is going on?"

If these kids want to play then how come they end up transferring when playing time is available? And why is the staff having difficulties recruiting positions with immediate PT available?

how about linebackers. do some homework there re: attrition.

Erb is the best recruiter on the staff.

OP is an idiot.

He has Illinois as a territory. That is about the only area where Iowa gets a steady stream of strong recruits. But, it is BY FAR the easiest area for Iowa to recruit. So, it is a little questionable to call him Iowa's best recruiter.

If he is so good, why don't they put him in any area like Texas or Florida where he stellar recruiting abilities could really be used?

You are an idiot. And an idiot with a mouth at that. Why do you continue to post about stuff you know jack **** about?

1st, recruiting is all about relationships. Erb has GREAT relationships with guys in the midwest and it is showing. So why would he go to Texas? Florida? You don't just go down there and start building relationships right away. Iowa has four 4 star recruits....all Erb's guys.

For idiots like you saying he needs to be fired because of all the running backs leaving.....he doesn't recruit RB's!!! He recruits a region!

Coker, Wegher, ARob,....all guys not recruited by Erb and yet people ***** about the RB's leaving like it's his fault.
