!*****Official Youngest Basketball Team Ever! @ Little Dick Pitinoville Game Thread*****!

I know the refs missed stuff going through the 14 point comeback but can you imagine the barn if roles were reversed on the no timeout?

I mean if the refs are gonna suck I'd rather it be no calls than fantom fouls every 20 seconds. But that ref calling jump ball was clearly looking give a favorable call. There's just no way miss him being out of bounds when he had to run around him to call the jump.

The intent of be bias on that call seemed much more stronger than just be influenced by home crowd. Refs need to be held accountable for that shit. Suspensions and fines need to be considered.

I also think it's games like this where the bigten network deal hurts some. Can anyone remember espn or CBS televised games being officiated as bad as this?

That's what I think too. The guy couldn't wait to hear the crowd roar when he made the call.

It should also be a tie breaker if we are in a position where one more good road win would have got us in. Not that it matters now because a double overtime road loss is not a recipe for a good showing on the road 3 days later. This was worst case scenario for beating MSU.

Agreed, tank will be empty and it's tough to not be down. It'll be interesting to see how they come out early. Fast starts have been lacking. We seem to have to come back from down 6-10 early, quite often.

Speaking of bad starts. I wonder why Baer was so late to come into the game. Between that and having one of his worst games this year, maybe he was sick or something. Normally he's one of the first off the bench. Uhl was in before him.

How about this one?

It's funny how my rooting interests change depending on if Iowa wins or loses. If we would have won I would be rooting for Indiana and Nebraska tonight to knock off top teams. Now I'm rooting for all the middle teams to lose.

Being at the game, I can tell you it was a classic example of the refs getting caught up in the emotion of the home crowd. Their body language was quite telling
