Yes on Weisman to FB. Getting Weisman the ball 3 - 5 times a game out of the FB position on quick hitters up the middle could be a very nice wrinkle to the offense.
Slow rb's don't see the ball on really good teams, look at Weismann avg. vs Canzari yesterday and in several other B10 games.
Hawks should try and upgrade from Canzari as well. not sure if Daniels or some redshirt freshman or recruits will be better, but let's not wait for injury to Weismann to find out.
Weisman had several carries that were short-yardage designs. He wasn't "supposed" to get 8 yards. The problem is, with missed blocks and LSUs D, he didn't get a couple much-needed first downs, either.
Canzeri showed why ball security is an issue. A whistle prevented another turnover.
It boils down to, with our current stable of RBs, using them effectively, not as plug-and-play. They are built differently, they run differently, they have different skill sets. So instead of trying to make four RBs fit one prototype, GD might be better advised to utilize each of them to their strong suits.
