Purdue and Minnesota looked good today, Wisky looking good too. Schedule is shaping up to be much tougher than originally thought

they have a chance. Unless, Plumb comes in. But I think Plumb takes at least 2 years to hit the field. Maybe not, depends on how much weight he can put on during his RS.

But again, we've got a lot of really good talent and potential that should manifest in '18 & '19.

We could have an '02 like offense in the next couple years. The Smiths at receiver, Stanley at QB, Young and Martin at RB, Fant at TE, and Jackson and Wirfs at tackle. That could be really good.

Then with the way we've recruited at Dline and secondary, all we really need are linebackers for a great D too. It's weird to have this kind of game against a week opponent and walk away feeling this optimistic about the future.

you're exactly right. and we have a qb that has 10 td's to 1 pick in his 1st 3 starts. If he pans out....watch out.

Iowa needs a QB who does not fumble every time he gets pressure. Teams are going to figure out if you out sone pressure on Stanley, he falls apart.

Stanley needs just a bit more under his long ball. When he figures that out. Look out.

In fact, Im drunk and I say he does it next week
Iowa 31 PsU 24.
Stanley 24 for 31 for 357 yards and 3 TDs.

Book it.

Got home just in time to watch Purdue’s extra point and Iowa’s weak and tentative kickoff return.
