I think part of what we're seeing is young guys being inconsistent. I agree that this should be washed out by game 3 and that is coaching. But Stanley lined up under LG to take a snap. Welsh whiffed on a 3-step drop and Stanley got hit. Render whiffed and Stanley was strip-sacked. JB misses a pass for 1st down that hit him right in the gut. Easley fumbles through the end zone.

we should actually have 24 points. I'll take 24 first half points all season long. But yeah, if we play 2nd same as 1st, then we lose and SMU is #1.

because it's illegal to "sack" the quarterback by tackling at the knees. I think it was circumstantial that AJ wound up at the knees, so I think intent should be part of it. you can't stop yourself from falling down.
