Sorry dudes, Fran McCaffery is not the answer. It sucks cuz I like the guy, but something has to change.

He was the right guy to get Iowa out of the historic crap hole they were in. In fact he was likely the only guy Iowa could get at the time. But he's done all he could do. Not that Iowa is in position to land a great coach because Iowa just isn't that great of a program but there has got to be a young mid-major coach with relentless recruiting chops who can at least coach defense, land PGs, and not make a fool of himself who'd like this opportunity.
