***Official Row Boat Springs A Leak Game Thread***

There is a mathematical chance of winning the West

Assuming we win out

If Minnesota wins 1 more game, we can't win over them

If they lose 2 and we would win over them

If Wisconsin wins their next 2, they win the West

If they lose 2 we would beat them

Still a chance, but

Not Very Likely

West Division

Standings Conference Pct. Division Pct. Overall Pct. Home Away Neutral Streak
Minnesota 6-1 0.857 3-1 0.750 9-1 0.900 6-0 3-1 0-0 L1
Wisconsin 5-2 0.714 3-1 0.750 8-2 0.800 6-0 2-2 0-0 W2
Iowa 4-3
Illinois 4-3
Purdue 3-4
Nebraska
Northwestern

Math must not be your strong suit. If Wisky and Minny have to play each other one of them will win. Therefore there is no possibility of the them both losing out.

I couldn't care less about wisconsin or minnesota winning a cold terd to sup upon. Who gives a F.

Don't even want to see the Hawks win the west. It is not really a prize after all. Welcome to the slaughterhouse, Are you having difficulty grasping that either wisconsin or minnesota will win. Do you even give a F, pal

Both Minnesota and Wisconsin can not simultaneously lose both their remaining games because they play each other.

Oh I didn't realize you were in concussion protocol. Sorry my bad. Go Hawks

Yep. Thought for sure they were going to go personal foul. First down Minnie and then make it 1st and 25

Wouldn't have mattered. The penalty occurred AFTER the drop, which meant it happened while WE had possession. For past reference, look back to the target on Ron Colluzzi against Michigan. Personal foul, targeting, etc., but it happened AFTER the play, on 4th down, so it was Michigan ball, hence, the reason we didn't keep possession. Same deal with the Belton penalty.

So the late hit wouldn't have given Minnesota a 1st down anyway? Doesn't seem right but I'll take it

Same type of situation in 2016 Michigan game, when Colluzzi had to bail on a punt and did that awesome flip. He got hit AFTER the play, which meant possession had changed the second the play was dead. In both cases, penalty happened AFTER "change of possession".

The only way Iowa wins out is if the plane carrying the Wisconsin team to Minneapolis crashes into Minnesota's practice facility jihadi style wiping out both teams. Now there's an "IF" scenario.

Or a huge bench clearing melee breaks out at the Wisconsin vs. Minnesota game, including opposing fans, thus causing both teams to forfeit. Hell, I'd even pay to see that.

Didnt notice live....but big missed false start call on Minny's last TD play. Not saying they would not have scored anyway...but maybe burned more time. No consequence as it stands.

I tip my hat to the Gophers and their participation during The Wave
