So even though Petras came around I don't see him as our future. There are some routes that he just can't hit. Also, he can't run for his life. I hope Deuce can throw and run for us next year.

As another poster said..it's in his head. He is afraid of interceptions and double clutches way to much and stares down receivers which will kill you at this level of football.

I was hoping Petras would be better on deep balls than Stanley, but he just isn’t. He can make the deep seam throws, but anything deep he overthrows. when he has to zip it, he can make that throw......sometimes.

I keep hoping that we ARE seeing him grow, but then he slaps me back down.

I mentioned it in a different thread but UCF's Mackenzie Milton entered the transfer portal. He's about two years removed from a serious leg injury, but prior to that he was a Heisman caliber QB.

I'm saying it's the game plan and coaches. The kid wouldn't be that petrified if the plan was to attack all the time. Instead we flounder on 1st down, so we're set for a 2nd and long, here comes the blitz, then it's 3rd and long......F dude, I don't know
