I didn't. As a Twins fan after he went to the hated Yankees I took pleasure with him getting the yips.Oh man. I felt so bad for Knoblach back then.
No kiddin... But the media would have you think they all died of covid by now..Sioux Falls is 100,000 people
Yes its 11 on 11 buttcheeze!
That was the key to the game. Involving our TEs. Why we get away from using them is beyond me. 12-15 targets should go their way. Both he and Beyer are solid. I don't think we even know how good they really are because of playcalling and Petras. Without Petras going to them this game like he did things woulda been different. They stymied our running game enough to make a difference. We need to get LaPorta 10 targets per game.
Serious
Pretty much always has. We don't account for them It's PPs strategy I guess. Only occasionally does he have a LB spy.Iowa sucks against these running QBs

Yeah we win our share of games against them (that's the bottom line) We've just had games where they tend to get their stats and keep drives against us going in frustrating ways due to it. That McSorley game still sticks in my head. But yeah we do well against one dimensional offenses either way. It's just tough to take everything away all the time.Actually, we have always done well against one-dimensional running QBs (e.g. Denard Robinson, Taylor Martinez, Tommy Armstrong, JT Barrett, last-year's injured Adrian Martinez, the PSU starter this year, etc.). Who is the last guy like that who actually beat us?
We have struggled against athletic QBs who can also reliably beat you with their arm (e.g. Trace McSorley, Terrell Pryor, Dan Persa, or even Antwan Randle El if you want to go way back). Many defenses do. Luckily, there aren't too many of those out there.
