I never got to watch lick ball because I worked nights...........but I have a feeling this is what it looked like.
 
Fran continous to mount a big lead in 1o point blowouts among modern Iowa. coaches. It is unprecedented.
 
I am seriously worried about the team coming back from this. Cook looked absolutely lost on defense, as did everyone. Iowa missed so many shots and so many terrible turnovers.

I haven't felt like this in 6 years.
 
Well on the positive side, Kriener shot great and Christian Williams played better, at least attempting to try on defense. Probably could've used Uhl's athleticism tonight, a lot of offensive rebounds for NW.

It's possible they won't come back. But I wouldn't worry about it because it's just as likely we will beat Maryland just to get destroyed by Illinois.

Barring an unrealistic run in the BTT, no way this team makes the NCAA tourney. Fran gets a pass this year due to youth, but if we miss the tourney next year, Fran's seat is blistering hot if not fired.

No worries.....

This loss was not unexpected anyway. In the end it is just one loss....

In a few days it won't matter how much of a slaughter it was.....

Perhaps unreasonalble to expect to win on the road in the Big 10 this season. It is tough for an experienced team....

I am confident we will bounce back against Maryland. Lads are resilient.....

You could tell the first three minutes of the game Iowa wasn't ready to play. Boilermaker hangover.
 
One of the toughest thing to do as a young player is learn how to play in the road in these environments. When you have a team full of young players this can happen. Not worried. This team will bounce back.

I hope you're right. I get struggling on offense, but being soooo badly out of position and lost on defense, that's what scares me this many games in.

Sometimes offensive struggles lead to defensive struggles. Guys start over playing on D to try to make up for the O. We've seen much better D this season. We will see much better D and O. Young teams are tough to gage but I'm not getting to down on these players.
