Official Iowa v Drake Game Thread

Does anyone follow their shot anymore? Sure doesn't seem like it. After watching quite a few games today, I can say that this is rarely practiced anymore.

I don't understand it myself, but it seems that many coaches are teaching "get back on defense" instead of "follow your shot". Don't know what FM teaches. I'd be interested to know.

I think it depends where you are on the court. If you're in the post or in the corners you follow your shot, if you're at the top of the key you fall back.

I feel like you're going to allow more points on the fast break than you'd score following your shot. If anything, I'd have the guards get back and have the bigs rebound (unless the guard has a good feel for where their shot is going)
