I'm not blaming the refs for Iowa's bad offense - however Indiana probably scored 8 pts off of no calls

Refs have nothing to do with the lack of offense, you are correct. But it is annoying to watch Zeller plow through guys and nothing happens.
 
Not having gesell is big. He is our best shooter and the offense starts with him. No body but marble can constantly knock down a J. This half didnt surprise me at all.

We have an awful shooting team. It's hard to tell who's playing with poise and who just can't play offensive basketball.

Also, our half court plan is pretty bad. A whole lot of isolation and considering were trying to do it against strong defenders, it's no wonder that we have 14 points.

There is no possibility of momentum when there is a whistle almost every time we go down the court......
There were some seriously bad calls in my opinion.....

The unforced turnovers have perhaps doomed the Hawks.....

Yep, our offensive issues aren't going to be solved this year. With the addition of Uthoff, Jok and Gesell continuing to progress as a shooter I bet our offense will look much better next year.

True. Superstar big man have been allowed to do whatever the hell they want for years in this league. The calls Sullinger got at times were ridiculous. He initiated contact and got foul calls on the other team. That was irritating to watch.
 
There have been times that we have been a completely different team the second half.......

We shall see. We were not prepared for the first half......
