Official: Iowa at Arizona 9:30 central kick

Nothing to do with call in show.

I am looking at this from a 'best chance for Iowa to win' scenario, and playing a team in their own time zone and body clock when your body clock says its 9:30, let's go play a football game now, that is going to make the teams closer to even.

I am not saying it will make them even, but it's an advantage of some degree for Arizona. Whether or not that makes the difference for them, who knows.

I agree that it's an advantage for Arizona, but of course Arizona schedules early season games at night so this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Playing Iowa in Kinnick sucks for teams from Arizona, so I suppose it all works out in the end :)

I'm trifling with going to Tucson, because I really enjoy it there. I figure I could hike in the Catalinas, have a few margaritas and Tex Mex, see the town, and watch a good night game. Not a bad plan if I can swing it.

Good Lord, if it were another team's fan's talking like this we'd be making fun of them for making up excuses and being a bunch of whiny little stupid *******.

How bout Arizona coming here for an 11:00 game. That's 9 in morning their time. I never heard one word about that. Guess that's ok.

If Iowa loses this game it won't be because college kids were asked to play at 9pm. It'll be because they beat us, PERIOD.

Well the reason why you didn't hear about Arizona having to come here and play an 11:00 am (or 9:00 am) game is because we played them at 2:30 pm last year. That would be 12:30 their time.

Hawk fans need to turn out big time for this game, and the team needs to get off to a good start and get the ground game going.
