We didn't even take a shot deep, all we ran were 5 yard hitches and outs. The running game is unspectacular. The O-line struggles to protect against an average looking d-line. On defense we cannot stop the run. This is going to be a long year

Can't wait to see the half time stats.......very ugly. Not a huge surprise considering the inexperience on the D-Line and O-Line. Thought are receivers would do a better job of separation but they just don't seem to have the quickness/speed to do so.

Just hope JVB can stay healthy until the start of the Big schedule.

We MIGHT go 2 and 3 in the first 5 games. Not impressed with either of our line play. Reese doesn't know what the hell he is doing on the D Line and I'm questioning young Mr. Ferentz ability to coach the O-line.

Second ******** penalty that has cost us

Both of those penalties were good. Hyde turned the wrong way and got in the guy's face. If he turned the other way and had the guy on his back, it wouldn't be a penalty. That is ALWAYS a penalty! He had good position, but turned into the player and you cannot do that.

Second, the ball didn't pass the LOS. CJ was 6 yards off the LOS. That is by rule a penalty.

Vandy is still a panic waiting to happen. Iowa can do one thing and that is give him a lot of opportunities to get rid of the ball quickly to a player in the middle of the field.
