Well, I'm not putting much stock in it. The first half was more about Iowa's offense scoring 25 points than Purdue's shots falling. Purdue was 24 out of 38 from 2 points. Some of that comes off of misses.
Going back to the NCAA loss last year, the Hawks haven't done well with teams with a Strong inside presence. That does not bode well for the Big Ten where almost everyone will be stronger at the point as well. Hope I'm wrong.
The good news is that was one of only four games against teams that are noticeably better than us.
