If you can't figure out who the 4th and 5th is, then how could they possibly finish in front of them? You keep insisting Iowa is only better than 3 teams, put your money where you mouth is, otherwise you just prove even you don't believe what you are shoveling.

This argument over simplifies what goes on in the conference. Last night Nebraska was better than Indiana, but that probably won't be the case most nights. The learning curve for Iowa is steep right now and there will be nights like last night where we would not have been better than a handful of teams perhaps only 2 or 3 maybe 4or 5. I think the raw talent and Fran's coaching gets us a middle of the pack finish. That makes us better or equal to 6 to eight teams in the league. Right now we have serious work to do and this team needs to learn how much defensive intensity and communication is needed to win, especially on the road. Time to put in some hard work.
I think we can finish ahead of Illinois and Minnesota but I don't think we're better than them right now, especially Minnesota

Not right now now but I think we will end up better than at least 4 and possibly 5 teams. Right now I think we're only better than 3 though

Then right now I will bet you we finish better than 11th place in the B1G. Who gives a rip if Iowa is finally better than 2 other teams 14 games into a 18 game schedule. That will be 14 games already played where those other 2 teams should have an lead on Iowa that they can't close the gap on in the standing. Iowa finishes with MSU, Ill, Indiana, Maryland, Wisconsin and Penn St. They are probably going to finish going 2-4 anyway, so even if they do improve it aint' gonna help em much. Illinois on the other hand finishes with jNW twice, Iowa, Penn St., Rutgers, Nebraska and MSU.
I mean seriously you are just full of shit. The better team will finish on top of the lessor team over a 18 game schedule. You know Iowa is better SEASON LONG than more than 3 team and will finish above 11th place. Typical CyTwins bullshit tho, to scared to back up his own fake opinions.

Why do you think we aren't better than them now, but will be come final B1G standing? Makes no sense at all.
Minnesota is better than us right now, that's pretty obvious. I don't think they'll improve as the season goes on while we will and I think little Pitino is the worst coach in the conference

I agree with 56 - again, I always wanna make sure I point that out. I got no issues with saying Minne has played better than Iowa up until this point in the season. The nice thing is - we get to decide it out on the court and then and only then does it matter.

NO - i agree that Minne has played better than Iowa up to this point - which I guess one can take away as Minne being better than Iowa currently. I also agree that little Richard is the worse coach in the B1G.
