Hey, nice bowl win for a good guy. Former Hawkeye player and I believe assistant Jay Norvell will a 16-13 OT win over Arkansas State. Norvell, who had to wait until his redshirt junior year to make much of an impact as a player for the Hawkeyes, also waited a long time to get a HC gig. He ended up with an 8-5 season at Nevada.

For all those who complain about the complainers . . . the problem wasn't so much the true freshman CBs, it's that some of us doubt that of all the CBs on the roster, that a true-freshman safety was the best available CB on the roster to fill in for the starter.
