Co worker is a tavern hawk and donates several thousand dollars to the I club. Neighbor is an ISU alumn and gives peanuts to ISU while makingnfun of my tavern co worker. I can handle that. Clowns are all mouth and no cash. Meaning they don't put their money where their mouth is. Tavern hawks are major players in u of I sports. 99 % of ISU fan base is alumni. That is not a good thing.

I suppose I have a Tavernhok but I went to Northern Iowa to run track. At the time they had the better program.

But I cheered for Iowa everytime they played UNI in every sport but track. I'd say 75% of the students and UNI are Tavernhoks.

You mean University of Iowa Cedar Falls? Yes I would agree.

Nuthin wrong with a TH There are many times more tavern"insert team here" fans than not.

Hawk fan from birth...unfortunately not an alumni.

I don't have a problem with people who are fans of the team that didn't go to the school, but I do have a problem with those that like to claim bragging rights, rub it in, etc. that have no frigging idea who the QB is, what the team record is, etc.

If you want to have the privilege of talking smack, be a real fan. You aren't a fan just because you have a team tshirt.

You got that right. and I cheer for the CYCLONES almost every time every where unless they be playing against some Big Ten team that makes the Hawks be better.

Got lot's of friends that support and/or attended IA State and can't and won't hate on them or your school.
