The best quarterback Minnesota has on the team is a walk-on true freshman? Great for the kid but sounds like an epic recruiting fail by Fleck.
Baker Mayfield was a walk on I believe. And Kurt Warner, etc. Sometimes big big misses by all.

According to Dochterman and Morehouse, Iowa's skill players are now better than line players. Don't believe me? Listen to their latest podcast (Iowa vs Northern Illinois preview).I thought this thread was going to be like Johnny Carson and when I opened the envelope it was going to say "three teams who consistently recruit vastly better WRs than Iowa"

Yeah. Me too. I can’t stand NW.I’m pulling for Purdue over the fighting Fitz’s.
Don't know how many linemen are on the roster didn't count, but the vast majority are from Iowa.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

About 15 Wisconsin and 17 Illinois boys on Iowa’s roster. Is that good or bad?
Yes and Minnesota was losing in the 1st quarter. Minnesota going to be a door mat in the West this yearWyoming did already play New Mexico State and they beat them 29 to 7. It was 29 to 0 until the last 4 minutes when NMST managed a TD on 3rd string Wyoming. NMST is horrible and Minnesota should have destroyed them like they did. This game tells us nothing about Minnesota.
I hope they both loseDitto
