Nothing to lose so open it up.

Open up the playbook on offense. We haven't seen the KOK route specials against zone defense up the sideline behind the corner and in front of the safety. Yes a lot of teams are playing the hawks man to man. Put some receivers in motion to help Stanley read the defense, have jet sweep motion often but only hand it off a smaller % of time. Pass first and often, run draws and screens which we havent seen much of. I see Wash of the NFL is bringing back their counter-trey blocking scheme.

See what some straight ahead power blocking does on some plays instead of zone or pulling and trapping. Keep trying the long passes but maybe give more of an angle for Stanley to lay it out for the receiver.

Defense needs to get out of the base 4-3-4 more often, if Snyder comes back to start maybe put Hooker in as a 5th d-back in place of Bower for most plays. Hooker has the size almost to play lbkr and more speed. Some raider or at least blitz earlier in the game and more often.

Put the players in a position to win.

That would make too much sense. When was the last time you saw anything that made sense this year?

Like your optimistic outlook but what we're gonna get is a rainy day run fest. Illnoy is awful against the run and Brian is looking on getting the running game in gear. Look for Iowa to run, run, and run again.

Bumping this because it is even more apropos now.

Get Wadley in space to help the kid get drafted and win some games.

Show some novelty and excitement for those $60 a seat ticket purchases.

Open it up orrrrr go even more conservative. Shocking to see which the coaches chose.

I wish this would happen, but you know it never will. This staff doesn't seem to care about winning games or looking competent.

Wadley in the slot with Young behind either one of our fullbacks.

And those $60 seats are going to be $17.50 seats on StubHub real quick.

--------Open up the playbook on offense.

Nice idea, but do what exactly.....throw more to this receiving corp? Yuck...phew. Other than sending Wadley short side, or into a 8 man brick wall time after time, there is nothing we can do different really....we have ZERO play makers other than Wadley. Our recruiting efforts and results suck ass!

Wadley is the best receiver we have and Ferentz doesn’t use him. So yes, throw more.

Kirk would certainly be wise.....while he is at it....get another kido back there returning punts. We are losing field position big time because of that sore spot.

Can Wadley throw a pass? the way defenses flow to him a halfback pass could be a big play.

So there are different things we can do.

Stanley and Wadley have had some good connections. When Wadley goes out for a pass and two defenders focus on him then oithers are open.

since the season is basically shot, why not open it up and start playing the younger guys some. it'll never happen because of captain conservative but we can dream

Kirk when he heard the phrase "Open it up".
