North Dakota: Thugs R Us

I thought of Ricky Davis when they tried to get that last basket counted...selfish...Alfordish...

I don't think anyone knows the "mood" of the players at the end of the game...and perhaps Fran did what he thought was best, to avoid a bad situation. By watching the players it seemed as if it was boiling...with each hood foul.

I don't think Fran did anything premeditated or unprofessional given the circumstances.

These punks are headed back to North Dakota to cool off...North Dakota is a good spot to do that.

What I would guess was premeditated was Horner and the Child of Alford planning on how to win vs Iowa, which included Hood Antics... They need to take a look at that...might take some of the wonder out of the fact that they are coaching in North Dakota.

I would like a list of successful coaches who can't be jerks or have some fiery, anger, competitive spirit in them that doesn't bubble over and come out now and then. I'm waiting.

I can't believe there are people that think Fran did the right thing here. Mind blowing

I don't know if he did the right thing or not. Based on what I saw and what i've heard from those in attendance, I think it wasn't as poor of a decision as you seem to think.

He's hot headed, sometimes goes over the line with it. So far, I'm totally ok with it. Fran is still the man.

Whoever said their coach needs to get a suit that fits is correct. He looked like a 12 year old borrowing his 15 year old brother's Mens Wearhouse suit.

Now, This is a travesty. How ya gonna look like that as a coach? Sherm could give him some pointers on the threads.

IMO, that rough play was in the game plan for ND. They were trying to get a big eruption from Fran and get the officials on their side. Fran didn't bite because I think he knew what was going on and thought it was a damn cheap move.

Jeff Horner, LOL like he had never stopped playing at the end of games when getting beat. I'm not sure so please, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he walk off the court without shaking hands after Northeastern beat Iowa in the NCAA Tournament? My memory isn't what it used to be.

I honestly don't know if 56 thinks Fran not shaking hands or the Minnesota sexual assault situation is worse.

or Rutgers, or Oklahoma, or Baylor...now, THOSE are big deals, and the sad thing is, very little will come of any of it, and that is sad. example....North Carolia, and Entire athletic department cheating for years...what's happened? nada.

ohhhhh snap. Well played.

What Fran did perhaps wasn't professional, polite, or a show of sportsmanship...but it wasn't inexcusable or premeditated...it was, well, understandable given the situation.

Perhaps a presidential pardon is in order...lots of that going around.

The likelihood of something happening during the handshake is probably very small, but if something did happen it could have escalated into something really bad. I think a few days of some tepid bad press is an OK tradeoff for what we could be facing.

And "discussing the matter" with the other coach during the handshake is a horrible idea.

Go back to clown fanatic where you can have your circle jerk about the Seneca Wallace and Fred Hoiberg days. Your act is tired. Anybody who thinks this is a big deal has too much time on their hands. It happened, everybody apologized, everyone involved is good. Move on.
