No Canzeri thread yet?

Just checked the board after the game. Expected at least 3 Canzeri threads. Looks quick to the hole, almost too quick. Get him in space and he's a play maker.

In to space? Wouldn't the astronaut outfit slow him down? And what about the lack of gravity?

well, we really, really could use a speed back. even if its just sporadically. the question is will he be able to pick up the blitzing LBer? that's what keeps most freshmen out of the game.

My biggest hope with Canzeri is that he will make everyone finally forget about you-know-who...the other speed demon that imploded recently.

Canzeri looks pretty gifted. Hard not to be enthused about what we saw today. I feel like Canzeri is the RB I thought Wegher would be - explosive and quick to the hole, but even though I've only seen limited carries, I think Canzeri has more burst and explosion. I'm trying to think of another RB during the KF era to compare him to, and I can't really think of anyone. Maybe Fred Russell? Other suggestions?

Canzeri is going to get carries. He definitely had a great burst and the thing that impressed me most is that he had vision. When he saw the opening, he went full speed.

No offense to Bullock, but we need a change of pace guy and this guy looks to have made an impression. I think KF wanted to see how Bullock would perform in the second chair behind Coker, and I think inserting Canzeri was his response. Good move from all preliminary indications.

Im thinking Damien Sims he was a very quick to the hole, he was basically a home run back seemed like everytime he came in he got a 70 yard td run.
