I'd have to see more tape on this guy. Someone posted film on this site and I remember thinking he was going to be a non-factor if they chipped him with a back or TE to slow down the outside rush. He was a non factor without that. I'm not trying to bash him...but that was against three offensive tackles that have never started a game and are 2nd on Iowa's depth chart. He beat Hockenson to the inside once where they called a hold, which was questionable but Hockenson's arm got around him but it didn't look like he held him. The fumble was all on Stanley for not getting the ball out.
I just don't get that. I'm not bashing him, but I think we have four guys (DEs) that are legitimately better than he is...and three of them are much better than he is.
