Nick Moore going for his 4th title

Here is a great write up by Andy Hamilton about Nick Moore's quest for his 4th state title this weekend. If this kid can stay healthy he is going to be another great Hawkeye wrestler!

Yes, from Iowa City West.......with an asterik for the schools that they came from.... Gambrall (Iowa City City High), Moore brothers (Dubuque).

With that being said, Nick Moore is awesome on the mat. It will be fun to see him in an Iowa singlet.

It is actually VERY possible that in 2-3 years that Iowa could have 5 starters from ICW in the starting lineup.

184-Grant Gambrall

Not to mention the fact that there are still kids coming up through the program like Koether, Hathaway, Gradey Gambrall, and Pelfrey that could garner D1 interest if they keep improving.

That being said, we'll have 3 Ballweg brothers on the team next year from WSR. There could also be interest in the coming years in kids like Rinken, Caldwell, Krumweide, and Devos.

It's great to have these "feeder" programs in the state! Now if the Hawks can just get there hands into the cookie jar in Huxley and steal Tanner Weatherman, Dakota Bauer, and Tanner Hiatt!!

i wouldn't go too far with the huxley kids....we'll see how weatherman shapes up but don't think he has been having the best year compared to other iowa freshman
