Herby, we are all excited to see the incoming class and what they bring next year. But you go a little overboard when you say you EXPECT 20 wins and to go to the dance. Relax man, things are turning around. It might happen next year but I wouldn't expect it.
My expectation: Iowa to the NCAA tourney, Oglesby averages 13 ppg and is a major factor in Iowa's tourney push.
Iowa finishes 5th in conference and places two on the all-frosh team...not who you expect.
With a viable bench and emergence of Oglesby, Iowa surprises many people and makes the tourney without question.
Basabe is an all-conference performer, not because of who is playing next to him, but because he makes a real dedication to becoming a player that doesn't have to rely on five good things happening right away for him to have a complete game. Basabe gets one reliable post move and is in the top three in rebounding in the league.
Marble becomes a very reliable outside shooter and gains 15 lbs in the offseason.
White gets stronger and can play more minutes, but his numbers stay about the same, except he plays much better on the defensive end.
How are those for expectations?
In all honestly, I don't see any of those as unrealistic...bring on the bashers
And Bob's your uncle.....And if my aunt had balls, she's probably have a smaller mustache.
And your point, is that if we go back and change a bunch of our losses to wins, then we would have a better record.HUUUURRRRRRRRRRBYyour point, other than the point at the top of your head, and that the fact you can come up with nothing constructive to add
if my grandma has balls she `ll make leonard nimoy cry
I believe 20 wins and an invite to the Dance is very possible next season.....My expectation: Iowa to the NCAA tourney, Oglesby averages 13 ppg and is a major factor in Iowa's tourney push.

Some will depend on how the big10 schedule lays out for you. This year's was pretty favorable.
The future is bright indeed, but I don't know about the immediate future. Next year I think will have its ups and downs. I think 20 wins in the regular season is reasonable, making them a legit bubble team. I think that's a realistic expectation. The reason I don't go 20+ and the tourney is the inconsistency the team still shows at times and the loss of Gatens. I think the inconsistency begins to go away with experience but the team will still be very young next year and we lose our most consistent, experienced and talented player. But after that look out, especially if Fran can keep pulling in the recruits.
