Seen chatter on the Illinois boards about Shaka Smart and Frank Martin.
Personally, I think Lickliter would look great in orange.

I think the shine is off of Martin. I like Smart just not sure he gets a job like Illinois.
If I were them I would throw a bunch of money at Buzz....

Nebraska Sports Radio Jocks keep talking about Shaka Smart as the guy they would like to see. Then, they had an east coast sports guy on who said Shaka has a good contract where he is, but if he did leave, it would only be to a handful of east coast teams. Does not seem like he wants to come to the Midwest.

I know you're joking but the only player worth taking is Meyers who is NBA bound. Now if we could only get Randle, who just put up 30 yesterday, to transfer. Come on Bowlsby do us a favor and fire the Stanford coach.
Reggie Theus needs to be taken serious. He is well thought of by folks at Illinois. Also was scouting Jabari Parker at his game last night. One heck of a recruit who would be just what Illinois needs in a local star.

Why would Lorenzo Romar take that job? He's been a west coast guy his entire life, and Illinois is not a big step up over where he's at now. I assume your just throwing out random minority coaches names.
