Newest Buffalo Wild Wings Commercial

Lol at the hate for BWW on this thread. What places have similar wing flavors and are better than BWW? Crickets.

I went to BWW on NYD to watch the Hox bince it was the only place open that early in my 'hood. I was there with a Badger fan. We ran up a bill that was a touch over $180 for the two of us, before tip. I went home and vomited within a minute of laying down while trying to watch the Rose Bowl. I think it was because I drank too much beer too fast, but I'll say this, the grease level in those wings sure didn't help (I think I had 12 or 15 wings). BWW has some pretty decent sauces and in the summer, I'll stroll over there and buy a few kinds of sauce and then slather that onto wings that I grill myself. My biggest issue with the place is that while the sauces are good and the flavors plentiful, they seem to use the same fryer oil for like 6 months without changing it and it really hurts the quality of their product. Given shifts in Americans' consumption patterns, if I were running the place, I'd try to offer up some baked or flame broiled wings to make the place more attractive to people who don't want to consume a bunch of old fryer grease with their wings, but I suspect they won't do that because baking or grilling wings takes much longer to do than just tossing them in the fryer and the name of the game is volume.

But, to answer your second question - my abode has similar wing flavors and they are better than BWW because the wings aren't deep fried and some ex-con isn't adulterating my wings after they come out of the fryer. I shudder to think of how filthy the kitchen in a BWW is bince 80% of their food volume comes out of a fryer. Think of the type of person who will stand in that kitchen with all that fryer heat and grease kicking up for 6-8 hours at a time for $9 an hour. Ask yourself if you would let him into your home to cook for you. Of course you wouldn't.

fantastic post. If it weren't for the sauce selection and quality I would have never went back a second time. The saving grace is the fact that you can buy it to go and avoid half drunk 22 year olds. Unless you are looking for a half drunk 22 year old that is.

You need to qualify this with "22 year old dudes" because the one by me is a total sausage fest.

Yeah, you don't want to think too long about goes on in the kitchens of places like that and the average fast food franchise. They don't care if they get fired from a $9 an hour job. Always can find another one.....

Should do something in every city and village a Hawk fan resides at exactly the same time when a Huge game is on and they are jammed, like bringing 5 gallon buckets of cockroaches in and releasing them or mice.....

They must pay and be brought to justice.....

Jack.....

How about simultaneous faking of food poisoning around the country. Shutting down bdubs nation wide. Then go back in with the cockroaches before the inspectors come. I like your thinking. Down with bww. They are a disgrace to the black and gold colors their signs display.

You have a little of the evil genius in you, 22....

I like it....

I like the mango habanero, and it's more like a full on campfire in your behind on the way out. At least it is assisted by gallon of grease you consumed.

Mango habanero is bliss, brah. But you're right, make sure you got some moist wipes to try to cool your backside down because it ain't pretty.

Quick poll, whose wings are worse, BWW or Hooters?

And ROFLMAO at the "anymore" comment. Hooters food has always been teh suck.

Got on their website and contacted them. It was surprisingly submitted.....

Said: You have lost thousands of Hawkeye fans in every city, town and village in America who will never eat at your establishment ever again forever. That TV ad showing the Hawks losing in the last second of a NCAA Tournament game was a major failure for your company. There is a HUGE Iowa fan base everywhere and they have heard about and seen the commercial. Really bad move on your part, I would seriously consider another advertising agency. Seems like the employee/employees who have hatred in their hearts for the Hawks have cost you thousands of dollars a day forever.....

Keep up the good work, FOOLS.....

The BWW I would go to if I had to go to one is in Cedar Rapids on blairsferry rd. Right down the street from that is 3rd base brewery or cedar brew. I don't know what it's called but they have wings that are a little cheaper per 12 and seriously 10 times better. They have around 12 different sauces. I like Carribean jerk and traditional buffalo myself. I'm not exaggerating on the 10 times better thing either.

There's also right next door The Field House. Which is a huge bar/restaurant with massive TVs and Iowa memorabilia all over the place. On the way to the John there's a big team photo of the 1985 Iowa Football team. All kinds of cool stuff in there. Their wings are mediocre at best.. I'd say 3 times better than BWW. And that's not an exaggeration.

There's a place downtown. Can't think of name. by the river. A divey looking place. Although after the 2008 floods they were able to rebuild and it's kind of nice inside now. They make really good wings. They are more the breaded variety. I would say they are 8 times better than Hooters breaded wings. And in the overall wing meter they are 10 times better than BWW. No exaggeration.

In fact, I've had wings all over this town in bars and restaurants. I'm kind of a connoisseur. And I would say on a list of all places serving wings in the Cedar Rapids area BWW would be at or near the bottom on price and flavor.
