New Bowls for the Big Ten

PS Bowl is fine for teams that don't travel well, are fairly close to NYC and are thrilled with a bowl game.

I live in St. Louis, and even I wouldn't want Iowa to play in a bowl game here. The Dome is a dump, it's freezing here just like in NYC, and while it isn't as "dangerous" as people like to portray in most of the city, it ain't exactly Tampa.

St. Lois doesn't make me get a rise in my levis. Just sayin'. Even thought is close enough to drive.

I'd rather have one in Minneapolis and hold it the new Vikings pad.

If I won a trip to the Super Bowl in Minneapolis, I would rather stay home. I don’t feel like traveling in the winter to winter someplace else. That is just my opinion.

I actually wouldn't mind cold-weather bowls or playoff sites. Why should northern teams not have "home" games for bowls/playoffs? I mean, how fair is it for Wisconsin to play the Orange Bowl...against Miami/FL...in Miami's home stadium?

Here's how the NCAA probably "views" it: "But Wisconsin gets to wear their home jerseys..."

How cool would it be to see how stupid your average $EC player looks with a turtleneck under his jersey? Does Florida, FSU or Miami even HAVE "stadium jackets" to drape over their players? Imagine the average U$C Trojan having to spend game week in a Cedar Rapids hotel? Imagine a Bama player's shock at Iowa players surviving the school year with nothing but a moped?
